The youngest of nine children, I was born at DeKalb Public Hospital. I grew up in Shabbona and moved to DeKalb after completing my undergraduate studies at Northern Illinois University. I have been married for 19 years and have 3 children. I have an independent financial advisory practice that I have run since 1998. I am invested in helping our city and working here in DeKalb.
